No Debate! DeVito/Verdi Has Strong Showing at Clio Healthcare Awards PDF Print E-mail

While Washington debates healthcare reform, there was little doubt this week as to who was the winner at the first-ever Clio Healthcare Awards for creative excellence in advertising.

The New York advertising agency DeVito/Verdi, which had garnered 12 nominations for four different clients, took home six awards in the Print, TV and Radio categories, including two silver and four bronze awards.

The Clio Healthcare Awards, which is an extension of the famed Clio Awards, announced its winners earlier this week at a ceremony in New York.

The critically acclaimed agency took home silver awards for its work on behalf of Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania and the American Asthma Foundation. The Abington work was judged in the consumer radio campaign category; the AAF work won in the consumer television category.

The agency's four bronze awards were for print and radio work done on behalf of Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York (consumer print ad and consumer print campaign categories) and Massachusetts General Hospital (consumer radio campaign and consumer print campaign categories).
